The Hillsboro Tigers Girls basketball team used a 16-0 second half run to pull away from Royall in a Scenic Bluffs Conference Girls Basketball game winning by a final score 65-46.  Royall trailed by just 3 at halftime and got within a point before Hillsboro went on their run backed by a 30point performance from Senior Carmen Erickson.  Lauren Woirol and Alaina Clark each added 9points in the Tigers victory pushing them to 1-1 in the conference and 5-2 overall.  Royall was led by Bria Gruen who had a team high 18points.  Royall drops to 1-1 in the conference and 2-3 overall.

The Royall Panthers Boys Basketball team used a strong defensive effort to blow by Cashton 65-15 Tuesday night.  The Panthers held Cashton to just two 2^nd half points.  Carter Uppena and Ben Crneckiy both outscored Cashton themselves.  Uppena finished with a game high 23points while Crneckiy added 17points.  Landon Lipke added 14points for the Panthers, two of them coming on a right handed slam dunk in transition.  The win improves Royall ranked #2 in the latest D5 poll to 3-0 on its season and 1-0 in Scenic Bluffs Conference action.  Cashton drops to 0-4 and 0-1 in the Scenic Bluffs Conference.  Royall will host New Lisbon on Friday a game you can hear on NOW92oneFM and WRJC.com

The Wonewoc-Center Lady Wolves basketball team couldn’t get their offense going in a 53-26 loss to Kickapoo Monday night.  The Wolves were led by Freshman Kendyl Rowe who had 8points.  Kickapoo spread out their scoring but was led by Jadence Nagle who had a game high 9points.  10 different players scored for Kickapoo.  Wonewoc-Center drops to 1-4 on their season and will host Brookwood Thursday night.

The Hillsboro Tigers boys team won a hard fought battle over De Soto on Saturday at Just-A-Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.  Hillsboro led most of the game but never by double figures.  Hillsboro got a team high 14points from Miles Ravenscroft while Jerry Von Falkenstein added 9points.  Harrison Krueger led the Pirates with 16points.  Hillsboro improves to 2-0 with the victory. De Soto falls to 2-1 on their season.

The Hillsboro Lady Tigers offensive woes continued in a 54-46 loss to De Soto on Saturday.  Hillsboro managed just 14 first half points and trailed by as many as 19points before attempting a rally that fell short.  Michelle Hora led the Tigers with 14points who drop to 3-2 on their season.  De Soto was led by Kylie Venner who finished with 26points.
